PCB has recalled the fast bowler Mohammad Sami and all-rounder Shoaib Malik

Pakistani Twenty20 squad has been announced for home series against Zimbabwe by Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday, 19 May 2015. PCB has recalled the fast bowler Mohammad Sami and all-rounder Shoaib Malik to the Pakistani team for the two T20 international matches against to be played Zimbabwe in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. Two new players 19-year-old opener Nauman Anwar and under-19 captain Imad Wasim are also called up.

Anwar Ali, Bilawal Bhatti and Hammad Azam have also returned to the team. In 2015 PAK-ZIM Cricket Series, inclusion of Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Sami is a surprise for Pakistani cricket fans. He has not played since June 2012 when they toured Sri Lanka. Last week he has taken six wickets in three matches in the Super8 T20 competition in Faisalabad.

Saeed Ajaml who is struggling due to new bowling action, was discarded along with Sohail Tanvir. Saad Nasim, Imran Khan and Haris Sohail; who played against Bangladesh in Mirpur last month, were dropped from the Pakistan T20 team for upcoming Twenty20 assignment against Zimbabwe. Sohaib Maqsood and Sohail Khan were sidelined due to fitness issues. Junaid khan is also left out from the T20 part of the Pakistan and Zimbabwe series.
