Zimbabwean Cricketers Rejoice on Warm Welcome by Pakistanis

Zimbabwean cricket team has set foot in Lahore amid massive security where 14 km route from the airport to the hotel was deployed with thousands of policemen. A large convoy of police commandos led the Zimbabwean delegation consisting of 16 players and 14 officials after Pakistani minister and Pakistan Cricket Board officials received them. Members of Zimbabwe cricket team were happy on warm welcome by their hosts and they expressed hopefulness ahead of 2  T20s and 3 ODIs which will start on Friday.


Zimbabwean all-rounder Sean Williams thanked the Pakistani people for their warm welcome and support for the Zimbabwe cricket team and said he was waiting to play in front of a huge crowd expected at the matches because there will be close matches. He added they are safe and sound in Lahore and training will start soon. Middle order batsman Craig Ervine said about the tour that he values the big support from Pakistan and knew Pakistan will welcome them and make comfortable in their country. Pakistan-born batsman Sikandar Raza also expressed his views by saying Pakistani people have welcomed them with open hearts,smiles and love. He added may Allah bless both nations and their citizens.
