Rhodes said Mubarak is a player who can play important role as fielder in the gully or backward point area in Test cricket. Rhodes added that Mubarak is 6 foot 2 but he turns 6 foot 7 with his arms. He noted teams usually deploy taller players at these fielding points and these fielders use their arms to block the ball but Mubarak can his arms as well as body to attack the ball and this is the key point. Former veteran batsman explained that if he throws five balls towards a man and he catches four of them then he knows fifth one is rocket. He asked he does not demand players to take catch of all five. He explained he stabs a five meter goal post into the ground and tells the players he is escaping them but this guy was holding the ball a meter away the goal post.
